They shouldn't have to choose between having achievements or having the game work.
People on PC may be able to use another mod to enable achievements again, but I doubt that will be an option for people on consoles. Saying why would they fix it when the community will do it for them is a terrible mindset, and having to install a mod isn't a solution at all. If the games weren't so good people would have abandoned Bethesda by now because of how buggy the games are, I don't think they can afford to push it. What happens if there are more serious bugs that prevent you from completing the DLC at all? Should they just ignore them and charge people for something that doesn't work hoping someone else will fix it for free? Releasing broken content then ignoring issues to sell more things isn't a good way to keep customers. People are talking about the reload issue. I'd rather they spent their time listening to feedback and taking it forward into the next DLC, not the one they've already released Uh, no one is complaining about it not being good enough. Yes the reload bug breaks immersion but then again why would they fix that when chances are it'll fix in the next unofficial patch mod, which is SOOOO very available to all platforms for free. In my mind this is like saying the pipe rifle, which has it's own part in the story and is supposed to not be the best, is disappointing because it ain't no explosive combat shotgun. harpoon guns were originally intended to kill FISH, lever action intended to kill big game they're themed weapons and aren't necessarily meant to be the best.
